On November 6, 2019 Director of Caucasus Institute, Political Scientist Alexander Iskandaryan conducted a lecture at Artsakh State University. The theme of the lecture was “Theory, Types and Consequences of Revolution”.

In his speech political scientist spoke about the origin and applications of the term “revolution”, made comparison between a revolution and a reform, as well as emphasizing their similarities and differences. According to Iskandaryan there are obligatory circumstances for a revolution, the most important of which is the existence of a certain degree of democracy.
